Sigmatech

Missile Warning and Missile Defense Project

I was assigned to develop a video on how Missile Warning works with Missile Defense for Sigmatech’s education contract. Each act goes through a cycle of sensors (eyes) sending data to the C2BMC (brains) in which an interceptor (fists) is selected to defend from ballistic missiles.

AI Workflow

I experimented with AI tools to create high fidelity vehicles. One of the vehicles created was the THAAD battery. Information was fed into Flow AI to generate view sheets of each part of the vehicle. Those view sheets served as reference for Meshy AI to generate 3D meshes. Autodesk Maya was used to bash all the meshes together, and then I created a working rig for animation.

Flow AI

I generated view sheets from multiple reference images for each part of the vehicle.

Meshy AI

The view sheets were used to generate 3D models. Bashed THAAD battery meshes together.

METAHUMANS

Autodesk Maya: Deformed clothing meshes to set up Metahuman Wardrobe Item.

Unreal Engine: Created Cloth Assets, Outfit Assets, and Wardrobe Items for Metahumans. Developed a live outfit switcher using Material Builder’s blueprints.

C2BMC Composite

After Effects: Created one composite per C2BMC screen visual. Corner pinning used to track visuals on monitors.

DaVinci Resolve: Final coloring. Masked operator to pop in scene. Screen blend visuals to monitors.
